Well I woke up this morning,
I couldn’t believe my eyes.
I opened up a window in my mind,
And I saw that the rain was gone.

I could see all the colours of the trees,
They were smiling at me.

Well a rainbow symbolised the sun had come,
And that the rain,

To many people out there,
Have got the rain in their minds,
And it’s clogging up the sunshine.
Yes indeed, with the warmth of the sunray,
We could have a better place,
For the children to play.
Won’t you see out there,
Look out the window.
Doesn’t take a genius to realise,
That when the rain is gone.
There’s a smile on your face..
